Gati India - Complaint for mishandling of goods while tranportation.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We deep regret and anguish, I would like to bring to your notice the mishandling of the goods done by representatives of gati ltd. with the items/goods send by me to my son from Bokaro Steel City to Navi Mumbai through Gati Cargo. On receipt of material at Navi Mumbai, my son wanted to open the goods and sign the paper in front of your representatives but your representatives were even reluctant to do so (unable to understand why so) and asked to sign otherwise they would take away the goods. My son had no other option but to sign and take the goods without knowing the condition of the good. After exit of your representatives, he opened the entire goods, the same was badly damaged. He communicated the same to me and thus thought it to be my responsibility to bring to your notice the lapses at the end of GATI. I am regular user of Gati and in past haven’t faced any kind of problem while sending & receipt of cargo. To my surprise and astonishment the brand fails to deliver on the above occasion/situation to what it commits on i.e 20 yrs of excellence GATI ’Ahead in reach’ in its anniversary celebration year.

Moreover when I contacted your customer service(call service) they even denied to register my complain. I had no other option left but to register on your website but that also resulted into non-reply. The details are mentioned below for reference.

KUMAR AVANISH WHO HAS RECEIVED THE MATERIAL AT NAVI MUMBAI HAS REPORTED ME THAT THE REFEGERIATOR WHICH YOU HAVE SEND IS BADLY DAMAGD DURING TRANPOSRATION ON ACCOUNT OF MISHANDLING. KEEPING IN VIEW PLEASE CHECK/VERIFY THE COMPLAIN LODGED BY ME REGARDING DAMAGE OF REFEGERIATOR DUE TO IMPROPER HANDLING OF THE MATERIAL IN COURSE OF TRANSPORATION & PAY THE AMOUNT ANAINST DAMAGE OF THE MATERIAL & OBLIGE.
