Dear Madam,

Sub: Report of serious case of dishonesty and cheating

I wish to inform you of the following facts:

1. I am Kuldeep Singh, working in Press Trust of India, the purpose of my son's education, I have been

saving money and wanted to keep it in our Post Office savings accounts no SB.3070897..And no.SB.3073519 On Saturday,May19,2012..around ..9:30..a.m. ., I went to the Post Office at Padam Nagar KIshan Ganj. which is near my residence. I had 2 bundles of Rs 1,000/- notes Total valued at Rs 1Lakh98 Thousand). I gave the Postmaster the entire money by mistake (instead of giving one packet, I gave both

Packets). I filled in the pay in slip of Rs 49,000/- each for two accounts i.e. total value of Rs 98,000/-. When I discovered my mistake of giving two packets instead of one, the Postmaster flatly denied the same. He said I gave him only Rs 98,000/- and not Rs 1,98,000/-. and he denied to give complaint book. Sir, this is a case of serious dishonesty as the Postmaster has kept the extra bundle in the drawer

4. I am a salaried employee and was saving this money for my son's future -for his education. However, this act of dishonesty on the part of the postal staff has put me to a huge loss of Rs 1 lakh. It is a severe shock from which I cannot easily recover.

5. I request you to kindly look into the matter and have an investigation done so that the culprit is booked and I get my money. On my part if the Postmaster returns the money which he has taken I am willing not to proceed with a police case in the matter.

I shall be very thankful to you for your kind action in the matter as my family and I are having sleepless nights and we do not know what to do
