I’m an economics student and I had an opportunity to go to the London School of Economics for a paper presentation with 3 others in my group. Four of us were selected to visit the LSE for 5 weeks. As excited as we were, we also knew that using our indian phones there would be a disaster.After enough time scouting for affordable international sim cards, we all bought us a matrix sim card each. Postpaid number, billed in indian rupees and free CUG! Everything that we wanted. Our experience in LSE was as amazing as we had thought it would be, but also I have to admit that we were connected all the time with everyone with that matrix sim. Not even once in those 5 weeks did we face any issues! It was a really economical option and all college students should use it when they’re travelling for a shorter period of time.
