On March 19, 2011 I registered a complaint regarding water purifier through iComplaint when I was not satisfied with the services of local dealer. The URL for the complaint is

Due to intervention of iComplaint, I was contacted by Seema Avhad from Eureka Forbes and further by local dealer and the membrane of water purifier was replaced. But even after changing the membrane, water pressure of purified water was not at normal speed. The technician of Eureka Forbes told that it is fine and will improve. But unfortunately, within two months, the water pressure is very less again. I called up the local dealer, Mr Paldeep again and he sent the technician and this time I was told that filters are choked and need to be replaced. Mr Paldeep asked me to take the AMC. Unfortunately, the warranty was till 12-May-2011 only. It seems that wrong diagnosis was done earlier so that AMC can be sold later.
I got a call from Mr Paldeep, Panchkula on Friday but still he could not convince me why the filters got damaged. One thing I also noticed that, according to user manual, filters should have been cleaned 4 times in an year for free. But it never happened. Whenever the technician came, he just cleaned the candle outside the purifier but never the filters inside the purifier. Is it possible that filters can be cleaned instead of changing them?
Also, I got the TDS checked for the water that is coming out from the purifier. It is around 150. Please note that membrane was changed just couple of months back by Aquaguard executive, Mr Karsem and still TDS is so high. I could not understand how the TDS is so high with new membrane
Can I get better servicing and can I get my purifier fixed :(

Hi,
I was visited by Mr Paldeep from Eureka Forbes Today. On checking the purifier, he confirmed that Filters and membrane needs to be replaced. And suggested me to take the AMC. Mr Paldeep, also told me that during the free service internal filters are also supposed to be cleaned by the technician which never happened in last one year.
Now the question is why should I pay for the filters when there is deficieny of service on part of Aquagaurd they did not maintain the purifier properly. I hope aquaguard management will respond to it.
