I had booked a (Waitlist) Ticket from PRS(Binnaguri) PNR Number : 626-0397812, From Dhupguri to Krishnarajapuram (Details of Start and end of Journey I filled in the Requisition Slip), But The Booking Staff made the Ticket from Guwahati to Krishnarajapuram.
I asked him why it is from Guwahati, he said from where you want the boarding, and after l told him dhupguri he ink stamped and wrote in my ticket boarding from Dhupguri.
But I have heard that Tatkal can be booked from any start and end Destination.
And if it is wrong then i had paid a huge amount extra from Guwahati to Dhupguri.

Now After Preparation of Chart, I found that My Ticket was not confirmed, So i went at 10 AM on the Day of Jouney to the respective PRS For Cancellation, and the respective Staff told me that it can only be Cancelled From Guwahati. Now is it fair enough to make a Cancellation of a Waitlisted Ticket to go 400KM to Guwahati, if I can Book the ticket from local then why cant i cancell it there. Then again I went to the same Counter at 3.30 PM (And in the meantime I got busy with other urgent works so i did not get the time before 3.30 PM) and asked them for Cancellation, and I was replied the same.

Then I thought of going to the Boarding Station (Dhupguri) which is around 40 Mins. from My Local PRS, But the Counter was Closed, and nobody was there to attend at the Reservation office.

Next Day Morning i went to Dhupguri Counter, and the Staff told me that I am Late (1200 HRS is Over) And I cannot get the Refund. The Money I spent on the waitlist ticket was Rs.5040/- , and its a Huge Amount for me.

I just want to Know from the Railways if I am getting the Refund. Because it is Unjustice of the Railways to not allow a waitlisted Ticket to Cancell from the Same Counter it was Booked.

I am Sure Somebody of Concern will look into the Matter, or Guide me How to get the Refund Back.
