Below is the self explanatory email, which i sent to Swipe telecom :
I had purchased Swipe HALO Tab x74s on 18th August 2012. i would like to appreciate the quality of product that was dispatched to me. I really loved the product and the ease of use. However, in the next six month i started facing the problem, I had to submit the product to service center at thane for the faulty charger socket and the low battery backup.
In this case they replaced my battery and also the other problems with the tab were resolved.
Now let me take you to the recent issue, that has been very disappointing and moreover frustrating.
My tab stopped functioning on 9th August 2013, so I took it to the service center in Thane and submitted on 10th August (Warranty was ON). Service center told me that its a software issue and needs to be sent to Pune center. I waited for 25 days, and finaly got the tab repaired on 5th September. But to my disappointment, the product was still faulty, Camera was not working anymore.
I again submitted the device to thane service center on 6th September and again waited for 20 more days. Finaly I got a call from service center that due to the part unavailability, they have replaced my original tab to which I agreed.
However, when i went to pick up the replacement , to my surprise they provided me with HALO SPEED TAB instead of my original HALO TAB X74S.
This is bad, on top of that the newly (as they are calling it) replaced tab has hundreds of scratches on its back cover, which look so cheap and disappointing.
Also, the replaced tab lacks few features :
1. Battery is only 2600mah instead of 3800mah
2. Front camera is 0.3 MP instead of 1.3 MP
3. Size is larger than the original tab.
Finally, after a lot of disappointment, i called up customer care and spoke with executive Rohit who later had his supervisor Amol talk to me.
I narrated the whole incident to Amol, to which as a representative of your company..he replied that if i want my original trab than i will have to wait for next 2 months. Else i should keep the replacement, nothing else can be done in my case further.
I would like to ask here:
1. Is it my fault that the parts are not available for my original tab.
2. why should i accept a replacement which lacks in major features over my previous tab.
3. Why should i accept a device which has hundreds of scratches on its body.
4. why should i wait for more 60 days, when i 'v already waited for a god 45 days.
This is very frustrating, i have bought this product with hard earned money, and such kind of cust service is not at all appreciated and neither acceptable.
I would request you to take this matter on priority and provide me with a replacement at the earliest or my original tab in fully working condition ASAP.
Attached are the Pics of the replaced tab, showing the cheap back cover and the recording of the call with cust service.
NOTE : I really can not wait for more 60 days for the replacement or the repairs. I will have to take strict actions against your company on the grounds of poor cust service and for the mental harassment that has been caused to me for these 45 days (I had to visit service center 4 times and no results so far, also each time i had to pay 100 rupees for the transportation)

I am surprised reading about your experience. I personally own a MTV Volt fablet from Swipe, and it works perfectly. Once I dropped it from the staicase of my 1 st floor apartment accidentaly, and the display cracked. I called their customer service, fully expecting them to not help. However, the staff was extremely friendly. I spoke to a representative called Suresh, who was extremely helpful. he assured me that Swipe would take care of the problem. I deposited my tab at their service center in vashi, and within 2 weeks, i got the device back as good as new. Plus the call center manager called me after a week to check whether I was satisfied with the service. I have never seen such good service from even older brands like nokia and samsung.
In your case, maybe its a problem with the specific service center, because, on the whole, I find Swipe's service to be excellent.
