I had booked a cab with UTAXI for 08:00hrs, 18th November 2013. The cab service refused to deliver a cab on the scheduled time and date. On 18th November 2013 at 23:2hrs i received a call from their driver manjunatha from the number ********57. I explained to the driver that the service was missed and he should not call me again. After which he called me once again (23:30hrs) from the same number and then twice (23:31hrs) from ********22. To complaint against the driver, i called the cab service at 23:31hrs and warned them clearly that i will make a police complaint. Post that too the same driver kept calling me from ********22 4 times between 23:34hrs and 23:38hrs and twice from ********00 on 19th November 2013 at 00:19hrs.
The driver has in all called me numerous times at indecent hours.
This is a formal complaint against the driver and UTAXI cab service.
It's the worst taxi service in Bangalore. Don't book just because it looks cheap. I had 3 bad incidents with them.
Twice they didn't send the cab and I missed my flight. The third time they send me a bigger car that I didnt book and I had to pay for it.
Every time I call them, they make excuses and the staff is very rude, they don't wanna help the customers. They only worry about extracting money from us as possible.
One of the worst Service... Please please dont depend on this Cab Service. We had a booked a Cab from Airport to BTM .. We booked this almost 12 hours early.. Yet we did not receive any confirmation message on Driver and Cab Info, Finally when we landed and came out of Airport and called the office they say Cab is stuck in a traffic Jam and this Jam is @ mid night 1 PM... Can anyone believe this??? . The office staff is most unsupportable and they disconnect the calls.. When you start asking questions they say your cab is cancelled and they cant provide cab. How can you go in search of cabs @ mid night 1 AM ????. We had to book another cab and had to reach home by paying more....Please friends just don't see the price and book the cab... Their service is pathetic.. You will be in a big big big trouble... You will see this U taxi ad in and around BTM.. Please tell your relatives and friends not to go for this cab and suffer like us by just seeing the prices
I had booked a cab for airport drop from U-Taxi on 22 Mar 14 (Booking ID: 84667). In summary, the experience in every aspect (vehicle condition, driver's behavior etc) is worst. The cab is supposed to pick us up from my residence at 3:30 AM. He called me at around 11:45 PM on previous day and asked for guidance to reach my apartment. Other cab drivers previously could reach my home following my guidance, but this guy demanded to escort him from a certain point on the way. Once he reached home, he slept near to my apartment. Then, from 3:15 AM, he started calling me to come out soon, as he is biten by mosquitos in his cab". Once we came out, we felt that the cab made of debris of old cab. In boot space, he has put a music box with wires hanging, so there is no place for keeping luggage. He demanded to keep the luuggage either on co-passenger seat or on roof, for which he will charge Rs 30/- extra. Since, we didn't have much luggage (one big briefcase and two smll bags), we could manage with co-passengaer seat. With this shattered vehicle, he started driving at 100 Kmh and simultaneously conversing in mobile phone handset. He misundersttod a hump, where the vehicle jumps by few feet, but his reply is that there is nothing to worry-it can happen. If I can not remain calm, I can leave out the cab by paying the due amount. Since, we had to catch the flight, I further didn't argue, but asked him not to exceed 80 Kmh. However, his reply is not to disturb him, otherwise, he will force us to leave the cab on the way. He drove even at 110 Kmh with at-least one wheel wombling. On reaching Airport, he demanded extra money. I saw him SMS from U-taxi with fare clearly written, he replied that we are talking like beggars. I got very furious then. I asked him simply to leave the place with the exact fare, otherwise, he will face dire consequence. Now, he became alert. Though, initially he was murmerimg, he simply left without saying further. From Airport, I called customer care center describing the entire details in crisp and concise way. On my request, the executive promised that the manager will call me soon to take care of the matter, but unfortunately, that call has not reached me till now!
I had a really bad experience with UTaxi service.
I booked an indica for a two day trip to coorg on 29th and 30th march 2014..
At the time of booking, I clearly mentioned to send a proper vehicle and driver should understand English/Hindi.
On the day of journey which was at 03:00am, this drover didn't picked call..I called him 4,5 times..around 02:30am..
We started at 4am..
On the way to coord, near maddur, the gear started creating peoblwn ..driver said 1st and 3rd gear is not properly hitting..
Near Hansur, this idiot driver took a wrong turn and went about 15kms ahead..
When he realized, he moves back and took the correct road..
This was some serious issue..somehow we reached cooeg at 11am..
The driver went to get the gear box fixed saying it all take hardly an hour..
When HW didn't appeared after 2hrs, I called UTaxi number...
I explained the entire case..
They said they will talk to driver and get back in 5mins..
But they never called..
I called them 8 9 times..each time same anawer ..
Some guy named Sony was thwre ..
Finally driver came at 4pm..
Our entire day was wasted...
Next day at around 10:10pm we reached banglore..
We decidw d to cut down 500rs for wasting our time..
At the time of paymwnt , we called UTaxi number to tell them about deduction..
Again Sonu picked phone and he was not at all ready for the deduction..
He started talking in harsh language and said UTaxi is not responsible if vehicle goes malfunction or driver is not aware of roads..
When I asked for manager's number, he said He dont have his number and they dont disturb managers in night..then he said to settle down the matter with driver if you can..
I felt like he was thretning me..
I talked to drives who was not at all aware of English or Hindi..he started saying things in Kannada..
After an hour of arguments with UTaxi guy Sonu and this driver yogeah , I decided to give the entire amonlunt..but driver started asking 200rs more since it was already 11pm..
I was totally shocked by this..
I refused and almost thrown the money on the seat and left away

Then this driver started abusing and went away..
I felt like lodging an FIR against this utaxi company..they all are crooks..and just fool customers..all they want is money..no service nothing..
Even we faced problems with Utaxi. we with Families planned for trip from bangalore to Coorg for 3 days. Based on the reference received from my freind we booked 7+1 seater Innowa.Before night we got the confirmation call from driver but 1) Next day he came 1.5 hour late because of whihc we were stuck in traffic itself 2) Instead of Innowa they sent smaller vehicle which was not at all confortable 3)Driver was not having proper sleep previous night so his driving was so scary we have to stop in between to give him relaxation 4)His driving was very slow so that he can benefit additional batta if we reach Bang after 10.pm (reached by 11.00 pm taken addition Rs250 extra). 4) We forgot soem article worth of Rs 1500 in cab itself. when we called driver he said he his out of city and give us a call , but never called.5) Instead of charging from point of origin or from head office they charged from the point where driver stays 6) Even after multiple calls to head office to BTM .. no action as been taken and we lost those articles too. we had a very bad experience with their service.Even othe r friends also had very bad experience .
Irresponsible driver! Pathetic customer service. The driver has the audacity to tell me that since the service provider has given me a 100Rs discount( which I didn't ask for), he will take me from the shortest route( plz read busiest) and not the fastest. He even said tat whether I miss my flight or not, it's not his responsibility.
They shud have informed this while booking. I could have planned accordingly. I almost missed my flight. took me 4 hrs to reach airport. Whereas it generally takes only 2 hrs.
