The last time that I carried my Airtel number to Dubai, I was horrified to see the bill. I literally fell when I saw I had to pay close to 15,000/-  and that too for 3 days, which by all means is impossible. Since I travel to Dubai almost every alternate month, I decided to use an alternate number from Matrix Sim Cards. In my efforts to evaluate which option serves me better, I only used the matrix sim that I had bought. To my surprise, not only did I land up saving 1/3rd of the cost, but with the add on data benefits that I got, I landed up saving even more technically. Basically, using a matrix sim proved to be a cheaper and a better way of staying connected.
