I traveled to Germany with a local matrix sim and it proved to be very helpful. I did most of my work on my phone thanks to their data services which was uninterrupted and very fast. Atleast faster than the hotels wifi. Infact was very helpful when I was finding my way around to certain places. It was actually a good idea to carry a matrix sim.
