Dear Sir/Mam,

On 11th April 2013, I purchased 2 Vacation Vouchers from your Company at a total price of Rs. 11,898 and the transactions IDs are 210291637 and 210292724.

I received a call from your company employee Abhimanyu (0********38) on 11th April 2013 regarding the Holiday Vacation Vouchers and asked me to buy 2 Vouchers of worth Rs. 5949 each and promised that I will be receiving a brand new Dell Inspiron 15R Laptop (explained the Specifications of the Laptop in detail). I asked him from where he got my number, he informed through IRCTC Payment gateway as I do frequent transactions with them. I asked him if I can buy only 1 Voucher. He informed that I will be getting the Laptop only if I buy 2 Vouchers and will receive a Blackberry Mobile if I buy 1 Voucher. I even asked him clearly that if I will be eligible for the Laptop or I will be receiving it for sure. He informed that he will send me the Laptop within a week of purchase of 2 Vouchers and it’s an assured gift if I buy 2 Vouchers. Accordingly he asked to make payment online on your company website www.vacationsgateway.co .

As per his promise I made a payment of Rs. 11,898 on 11th April 2013 on your company website. Abhimanyu asked me to send 20 contact nos of my friends and he will send me the Voucher + Laptop. I sent him 20 contact nos of my friends and also 20 email IDs. I dint receive the Voucher on that day. I kept calling him daily and at last he asked the concerned team to send me the vouchers while he was on call with me. I received Voucher photocopy through email as an attachment at last. When asked about the laptop, he informed he is going to the laptop team that day afternoon and will dispatch the laptop on that day itself. Daily I kept calling him but he was daily telling the same reason and after 5 days he stopped responding to my calls and emails. I called your Customer Care Nos many times but they picked only twice and spoke very rudely to me and cut the call, I even sent mails but of no use.

On 6th May, Abhimanyu picked my call at last and informed he is not in office and is on 10 days leave and will send the Laptop on 16th May 2013. After that he is not at all picking my calls. I even sent him an SMS mentioning that if he doesn’t respond to my call I will be complaining to National Consumer Court. He switched off his mobile the whole day. I even tried contacting him by calling from my other number, he never made an attempt to pick any calls.

Unfortunately, my item Dell Inspiron 15R Laptop has not yet arrived. Despite repeated attempts to contact your Company Customer Care Nos +91 120 3146539 & +91 120 6521232 and your Company Employee Abhimanyu 0********38, I have not received a satisfactory response as to the status of my order. The purchase agreement was made by your company employee Abhimanyu (0********38).

While I hate to think that your company is involved in any illegal activity, it appears that I may be the victim of mail fraud. Please deliver my new Dell Inspiron 15R Laptop immediately.

I have already complained regarding this issue to National Consumer Helpline and my Docket no. is 00464809. I expect a response from you within 10 business days.

Thank you, in advance, for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Shalini Lokesh
