I had purchased a Blackberry storm 9500 Mobile with PIN No. 20CC4E89 and IMEI No. 35********54839 in 2010. The set began trouble just after completion of one year. I registered a complaint with the seller i.e. enext and the same was rectified. The problems were - 1. Battery – I don’t get a back up of even 12 hrs. after fully charging the battery. To quote an instance yesterday night I had kept the mobile charged for the whole night but in the morning after two calls the battery got exhausted.
2. The touch screen – At one particular location on the touch screen extra push and after several times only the required menu gets popped up i.e. let us say I want to retrieve the call log window so when I press on the call log option on the screen the menu doesn’t appear. I have to literally fight a few times after which the menu pops up.
But the set failed after the repair. The touch screen didn't function. On sending the set back again I was told that the touch screen is required to be replaced but there shall be no warranty for the same.
My confidence in the product was such that I again procured Blackberry storm 9530 from ebay in Jan`2012. The set also failed yesterday. Now I am very much doubtful about one thing and that is the products of Blackberry are not so good as they appear to be. People are getting fooled by the name only.
Now I am in possession of two smartphones, supposed to be from one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the World, which are nothing but monuments as of now. Please arrange to let me know what can be done about it.
