We have not applied for gas pipeline connection. We are the registered owners of the apartment. Adani gas have installed the pipelines that wrap our entire apartment on all walls without our written permission and authorization. In fact, my old mother who lives there, was shut down from outside door and their employees entered our premises without permission. They took only verbal permission of our relatives to enter but no one would expect them to shut the outside door and lock my mother inside.
They mentioned to us that there is no other installation option available which is completely unbelievable. There is always the underground option.
No other building in our apartment has gas pipes wrapped on all walls except ours. We have a big safety concern here as our Apartment is not earth quake proof. In 2001 quake, entire building developed hundreds of cracks and if a next one comes, it is almost certain to blow up the pipes and cause fire in our house.
Adani can not wrap and install pipes to a wall of building which is not built to withstand earthquakes.
They should remove the pipes. We have have already notified to them in writing, but no action has been taken so far. It is our intent to settle this amicably rather than taking court approach. A dialog with the Adani manager in charge on alternative solution would be appreciated. We do understand the needs of others on getting this utility but our house is taking safety hit and we will be burned in case of problem.
