I bought an Amazon Kindle and cover worth Rs 18,148.00 on 3-12-2010 from shopyourworld.com and am unable to register it.Amazon customer service has informed me that as the Kindle was not purchased from Amazon.com or any of its retail stores it cannot be registered on Amazon.Of what use is an Amazon Kindle to me if i cannot read anything on it?Afterall I have not paid !8,148 for a piece of black plastic.Shopyourworld states that it's already been registered on tarazz.com and has to be deregistered and registered again on Amazon.however Amazon has washed its hands off the matter claiming the product is not theirs. Now shopyourworld is not taking my calls nor responding to my e-mails asking for a refund. Please help in resolving this problem as online shopping sites such as shopyourworld should not cheat customers and take them for a ride.

Complainant's Goal: I want a full refund of Rs 18,148 immediately.

If the fact that 04 out of my five purchases made through SYW were seriously bungled did not swear me off them. Blatant lying, continually reneging on promises and extremely POOR customer support has ensured that I would never dare to do business with these unprofessional people again. Intend dragging these people to consumer court in the coming week. People you have been warned. Documentary proof of misdemeanor if required can be provided by writing to me as pjashish at the rate of gmail dot com so that no that no one else ever has to go through the harassment I went through.

I think its easy to register or deregister your Kindle regardless of where you've bought you Kindle from.

Give me your Email I'd and I'll send the procedure to do it.
