On 4th April 2010 I made a withdrawal of Rs. 2000. Later I found that just after I withdrew Rs. 2000, another transaction happened for withdrawal of Rs. 4200. The important thing to note here is that there were only Rs. 4224 as available balance. i.e. only Rs. 4200 could more have been withdrawn from the ATM. Another thing is that I did NOT leave my debit card in the ATM. I suspect that this is a machine error. Even after I took away the debit card, my account was still open on the machine, and whomever made next transaction, took money from my account.

I have logged a complaint on customer care, and also sent mails to customer relationship manager and vice president at the following e-mail addresses:
Vice President: nzh@axisbank.com
Relationshipt Manager: 211.RM1 [This is as it is displayed on website]

But I have been told to wait for 10 working days before I get any update, and no reply from the e-mails that I have sent.

I suppose there is a problem with Axis bank cards being used with HDFC ATMs, as I have seen similar complaints.
