Hi All,

I have booked tatkal ticket then we come to know about display of ID card and meanwhile by this or that way we arrange the xerox of Voter ID from my native town. During journey time T.T will ask for 2070 rs. as a fine. May I know why the TT will charge the amount. Is there any Law for this if yes then why not the Railway staff will inform at the time of ticket booking. If not then why anybody charge fine.

We need the reply from the department or else we filed a case against TT.

Best regards,

The ID proof displayed should be in original with the ticket, else it will be a ticket less travel.

This is the reason, TT had charged you

I do not support this complaint.railway has clearly mentioned that it is mandatory to carry one of the photo id cards in original along with the tatkal booked ticket.you did not bother to know the rules before booking a tatkal ticket and hence paind the penalty for the same.moreover no such false and fabricated cases can be filed against the officials who hare doing their duty honetly and as per the rules
