A sewage canal runs beside 200 feet Road,Pallikaranai.The canal has mud walls which gets broke whenever there is rain.
Sewage canal dirty water flows inside residential area like a small river.I have called the local JE Mr.Manohar.He replied the canal is under PWD control and asked me to approach them.Can somebody from PWD look into the issue and look for permanent solution by building concrete walls to the canal.Nearly 50 families are affected due to this.There are more snakes and insects in the water and is a biggest threat to the people there.Request somebody to look into the issue immediately.Still nobody has closed the broken canal even the cyclone got ended 2 days ago.
