PWD - Laid water pipes in and around Annai Nagar, Balaji Nagar and their extension at Korattur, Chennai - 76. The works started 6 months before (ie. April 2013) but till now the work is fully not completed, wherever completed on the road and streets in that area the public could not able walk, get drinking water , due to stagnant of dirty water all the wells are polluted and too much of mosquitoes, the public in that area are unable to call water lorries, school vans, ambulance for emergency, unable to drive two wheelers / four wheelers etc. Due to the above difficulties the public are unable to carry day to day work and suffer with various diseases caused by mosquitoes.Particularly on the main road ( Korattur North Rly. Station Road / Agraharam Road ) suffered alot since refilling of pits were not properly filled, due to clay sand every where it is slippery / slushy. As on today due to above problem we are unable to cook at home due to lacking of drinking water / vegetables / unable to mobilise our vehicle out of our area to purchase from outside / elders are not getting medicines / unable to move for want of vehicle / ambulance.

Further none of the street lights are working due to that we are unable to do anything after 6.00 pm. We request if the roads are properly maintained we can able to arrange at our own cost the necessary facilities which is in need at the present scenario. Our humble request to the Officers concerned will understand the above said difficulties and request at least the main roads to be repaired / refilled for mobilizing the public.
