I placed an order (Order no. 304827) on 21.03.2011. Due to some technical problem, the order was not placed but the payment was deducted from my account. The same amount was given to me as a store credit. After three months, the store credit expired yesterday.
Now the problem is, I paid Rs. 784 on something which was not ordered and this money has been transferred to 'fashion and you' company. I am at a loss of Rs. 784 because I paid this money for nothing!!
By limiting the period on such store credits (which is not promotional) to three months, they are indirectly forcing me to buy anything in order to use my store credit.
When I called the customer care to extend the period (since the amount has already been paid by me !!!), they are not ready to extend it.
The sites like yebhi.com also deals in such online shopping business but they are very transparent in regards to payment. They even extends the validity of the gift vouchers which they give in return of the cash.
Such type of business practices not only deduct hard earned money from customer but they cause high inconvenience for tracking of the money.
