Maverick Infotec Pvt. Ltd.- BIG BIG BIG FRAUD COMPANY

I started working for Maverick initial 3 months with no salary on the ground that after 2 months I will be paid some stipend and after 6 months I will be taken into payroll based on my performance. However, even after 1 year 8 months I was not taken into payroll. Instead I was working as a contract employee. Maverick blocked 50% of my compensation, which is standing at Rs 180000 till I resigned. Even after my resignation, my Relieving Letter also was not released by this company.

Please find below all the details:

1. I was hired on contract for a project.
2. My contract salary was Rs 20000, (in hand Rs 15000, on hold Rs 5000 which was payable after project completion)
3. Although in hand salary was Rs 15000, I was receiving only Rs 10000 in hand. There was no written intimation about this given to me anytime.
4. Project got completed, but still my money as per the contract was not paid back although several reminders were sent on frequent basis.
5. My contract was renewed every 3 months. After my contract ended last time, no renewal of my contract was done. I was ensured salary every month. Company becomes money less, stops everybody’s salary.
6. I stayed for 3 months after my contract got over, hoping my hold amount will be released including salary for 3 months. We were told since company doe snot have funds so cannot pay salary and hold money. Once the funds come, it will be released immediately. This lame excuse went on for 5 months. Not a single penny was paid to any of the employees.
7. For 4 months I did not get any compensation from company. Only assurances that company will pay me money. I was asked to work although no guarantee of salary payment.
8. I resigned since there was no money coming, no payroll, all hold amount outstanding for 1.3 yrs (Rs 180000). I waited for my relieving letter as was assured by the Executive Director himself. But nothing came in hand. Only blank assurances.
9. Company wanted to retain me, I didn’t agree on the ground of no compensation and benefits. In fact it is very risky to work for such companies.
10. Company not giving me relieving letter, neither my old outstanding.
11. All requests sent for payment of outstanding and relieving letter through emails. Repeated reminders sent to HR with cc to Executive Director with no result.

Now my total outstanding is for last 1 yr 8 months. Company never took any initiative for paying me the outstanding, nor taking me into payroll, nor extending my contract. Company has zero fund with them and they want people to work for them without getting paid until they get some funds.

After my resignation only assurances for taking me into payroll, and to pay some amount were given which was not immediate but after sometime which again was not guaranteed. After so much of hassles, who will like to work with them. As usual it was a right decision for me to quit and come out from there.

There is no career opportunity nor money. I have worked like a slave, in fact I was made to work like that. I did so because so much of money was at risk. If anybody takes any step or talks for money they were threatened of not getting paid and Relieving Letter stopped.


There is no HR policy in this company. They target innocent people like me and make them fools by giving false assurances.

This is the most pathetic work place ever seen in my life. I want people to know these frauds to be brought in front of the society and punish them for spoiling people's career.
