I had taken an ING Life insurance policy and the policy no is 01612813. Due to some issue i decided to surrender my policy.
On 22nd I have given the original policy to Pune - Bund Garden road ING office for surrendering and for address proof I gave my new house Index 2 copy & house agreement copy to the office. they verified and gave the acknowledgement slip (signed) to me.
Last week of Dec 2012 i got a call from verification call from Bangalore office for surrendering the policy and the final conformation given it to them. They committed the amount will be credited within 5 working days.
After that on 9th Jan i received a SMS saying that "your application could not be processed due to address change requirements and call the number".
After tried one hour i could able to contact one person Mr. Vijay, and he verified the record and said he will verify with the relevant department and he will give a call to me on next day (24 hrs). But i have not got any phone call from them.
On 11th Jan i make a call to again call center, another person picked-up and i need to explain the same once again, the he asked for 24 hrs. But not got constrictive feedback from them.
Such kind of communication is irritating and totally blank.
My question is:
1. While receipt of the document at the branch level they verified and collected. But why again I am getting SMS like above.
2. When I got a call from Bangalore office regarding address change they have not told anything about it.
3. To attend a phone call by ING Life, it is taking more than an hour’s and each time we need to explain starting from beginning. Why the communicated information are not getting updated in the systems.
I would like to escalate this issue against ING VYSYA LIFE INSURANCE and would seek your kind co-operation in getting correct proper feedback on my policy.
