This is to bring to your notice that my mother had taken an Idea pre-paid mobile connection with the number: ********94. It is very recent connection. Today without any intimation a random caller tune was set up at the number and a charge of Rs 125 was debited from her pre-paid balance account. Further an intimation sms was sent to her number specifying a time when apparently there was a call from the Idea personnel on confirming the setting up of this caller tune, In fact in reality there was no call from Idea on this caller tune setting and debit of the charge for the caller tune.
It is highly unfortunate that such a petty fraud be done by such an organization as Idea Cellular. Its not an issue of Rs. 125 being deducted from someone's account without their consent for such a service, it comes across more as a matter of integrity and ethics from an Aditya Birla Group company.

I support this complaint. Yes, Idea is the worst Fraud Mobile service in India... They have activated their VAS without asking me and started charging money on daily basis, i raised complaints and even went to an office and raised again, nothing happened, still they are taking money... And i got to know from many that this is not a single case many have faced the same problem... "What an idea".
According to some IDEA personnel who had called me, they heard the recording of the conversation wherein the my mother agreed to this activation and she was asked thrice (not once or twice) during the same call about this activation before this song was activated.
My response to this, Mr IDEA man, please for heaven's sake, kindly don't *** innocent customers. When I asked the same person to make me hear the recording, they said the same was not possible. Why would a 65 old year lady agree to a random caller tune ( some 1990's song) to be set up unless she is insane !!
Kindly request IDEA to atleast not be so balant after committing fraud !!
(My sincere request to all readers of this post to think twice before using an IDEA connection)
