I am working with an elite consultancy firm in Delhi and for that i have to travel overnights also.But whenever i think of Indian railways for that i get goosebumps.
As your planning committee is very weak in their observations regarding passenger boarding. As in summer there a several number of trains running in name of SUMMER SPECIAL still trains were overloaded
Now in Winters when wedding season is on full thrust why there are not some special trains for that.
Even you can double the number of trains running NAMED THEM AS DUPLICATE TRAINS WITH TIME DIFFERENCE OF 5 MINS BETWEEN TWO if you can't raise the number of coaches in same train and MAKE THEM FULLY AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATION either you can shift reservation into them when the waiting list tagging to token number 100+ even in tatkal.
Try to solve problems specially on Delhi-Varanasi belt as trains are over crowded and not adequate place even for reserved seats
As after general bogey get full commuters from that section use to sit and sleep on pathway of reserved sections after paying to T.T. 100-250 Rs each which is a loss of Indian railways

Develop a system for this problem and make sure if even general ticket gets into reserved one they should be charged accordingly and INDIAN RAILWAY should get the benefit not their T.T.

Kindly see into this serious problem of emergency commuters AS YOU ARE THE BIGGEST RAILWAYS NETWORK IN THE WORLD.
