Today morning we got a call from the no ********77 saying that you won a TATA SAFARI car in HOME SHOP 18. Below message received from the name of IM-HOMESP.
Dear customer congratulation You have won 1st prize a TATA SAFFARI Car or RS. 12,80000/ from.HOME SHOP 18 .After registration you can take car orRs 12,80000 as your choice. Registration charges is Rs 12,800. For details contect ********77 HOME SHOAP 18 Sandhya
After this I asked him send a official email to my id but he refused to send the mail saying that if u need any clarification regarding I will tell you over phone only. Also he said you deposit the amount in sbi account if any problem you face give a complaint. Also I received one ID details from him.other no ********80

I I received the call today morning claiming that they are from HomeShop18 and that have won a Tata Safari or cash price of 1280000 rupees the number from which received the call was ********26. I am asked to deposit a cash amount of 8000 something to their account number. Which is in the name of Ramesh Kumar. A/c no. 35489 644393.
But they denied to send any kind of official mail. And they also called from a private number not from any official HomeShop18 number.
Beware people.
i got the same call lyk mentioned above n pllss request to oll be aware of this kind of fraud calls because these kind of people are just trying to make fraud oll time with no shAme.
Even I got the same call. It's fake. Why on Earth are these people trying to troll us common people into such situations? I request everyone to refrain from such offers, as they are false and you will just loose your hard-earned money. It's two times now that I got these kinds of fraud calls, first from Naaptol and now from HomeShop18. They are invading our privacy by using OUR names and respective email addresses to trick us into their traps. How do they get our personal details? By using them from our orders. You know, there are even people from foreign countries who get mixed up in such cases. It's making a bad impression regarding Indians. Please, I beg you to stop this junk.
I hope that the thousands and even lakhs of customers of HomeShop18, including me, will stop shopping from such places. It's better we go for direct shopping.

Exactly the same thing happened with me , but my question is , how come they got the complete details of the customers ? That means someone hacks the data from homeschool 18 n can run this scam . Let the authority of homeschool 18 do something to secure the data .

I also receive the call from ********08 informing that I won a TATA Safari or cash back and asked for the Account No of the bank, I provided that bcoz with only providing bank account number no one can withdrawn money but deposit.
I urge people to get aware of these calls, do not provide any financial information and call to homeshop18 directly for verification.

I told him that first i will get confirmation from homeshop18 itself and then we'll talk. He became annoyed and ended the call. Pleasee beware of such fake calls. Please Dont provide any kind of bank details and personal information no matter how true it seems. Thankyou.
