Here i want to share our horrible experience with you, so that you will be careful when dealing with such companies.
HCL Technology a well known brand in Indian IT industry is one of the most trouble payer in the industry with regards to HR Recruitment Vendors.
HCL Technology has not paid to its vendors from Jan 2010. As we checked with many other vendors (of HCL Technology) they also expressed the same, and some informed that some of them are stopped working with HCL as lots of payments are pending and from last 5-6 months.
As we speak to the people inside, they are telling us that there is shortage of funds, as quarterly target needs to be achieved for the company. I honestly believe that they know nothing about the process or have any information.
Even after sending at least 25-30 emails (and calls) the responsible people fail to even reply or to respond to our emails.
With the information given by the people who are suppose to release payment, HCL Technology is facing the serious trouble.
We feel the main reason for trying to push Recruitment Consultant away is mainly to facilitate their own or linked consultants to get all the requirement.
The simple logic behind this corruption by HR management is when resources are available at 8% consultation charge, why to go with RPO where HCL pays the external recruiters salary and 12% consultation charges.
And also why give the requirement only to one or two consultants and that even are not recognized in the market. many of the vendors including us are ready for 4% to 5% consultation charge for RPO (which we communicated to them), management is not ready to consider? If you see HCL Technologies why recruitment management will force its recruiters to work with specific vendors through RPO? why RPOs are required if hundreds of ISO certified HR vendors are serving at 8% consultation charge? why to pay 12% and extra salary to the RPOs???
Suggestion: If you are a new HR Consulting company/agency and wants to work with HCL Technology, please do not waste your time and effort as its totally waste.
The people who speak so much in the media, about their(HCL) company, why don't they cross verify the claims? The company automates its clients, why can't it have a simple process in place?

in any case avoiding HCL Technology is better for vendors if you are honest (if you can bribe, then its the heaven for you).
I know even at the time of res-session in the market even after they recruit the people and some of them are recruits they have not sack, which would increase the burden to the company. I have an very good example some of the employee who have qualified Degree in Electrical and they are working as a software engineer in the post of Manager. How funny is this software engineer with an electrical Degree. This kind of recruitment is done by the company. so any one any degree but have a link with the recruiters then he can get the good job at HCL.

my name is akta patel i have complaint for your branch in ahemdabad in maninagar i start my class on november they told me they will finish my class in two month but they still not finish i take class for c/c++ any faulty are teaching us they gone now we have third teacher this thing you are dng thn how can we do another classes thn we cnt do tht we are NRI we dnt have time you guys promising us you will be finish on time tht why you talking full payment after thn we fight you and saying you dosnt like it but your mangment is very bad tht thing i have to say manager knw i have to go back USA and he saying i have two option quit the job and study here wht tht means i will quit my job you guys give me a new job
We stopped working with them, as when it comes to payment, they don't process it at all
Very true, we have 8-9 payment pending from feb 2010

We are also facing the payment uncertanity.

Recently, HCL has made the releving period for employees of 3 months notice. They have loads of unreasonable deductions at the time of releiving the employees.
