I recently booked a flat in Noida with a builder vai Unicon Real Estate Manager - Mr. Nitin Gupta ( Assistant Sales Manager – Channel Sales).
Related to this I bring to notice a shocking incident:-
Fraud: I was verbally promised 2% of the value of the flat from the share of Unicon Real Estate ’s commission by Mr. Nitin. Later 2% was forgotten , but did receive a credit note of 1% . But later Unicon did not honour the credit note, and even refused to give any reason for the same and instead Mr Nitin was speaking in a highly derogatory, harsh and abusive manner.
Threat Issued: I have been issued a threat by Mr Nitin Gupta on phone -“I will show you what I can do legally as well as illegally.†He further retrieved-“I can do a lot illegally.â€
Indifference: Six days ago I wrote a detailed mail of my grievances to Unicon (Case Ref: 10-352586).I thought that being such a big company, they will resolve my grievances immediately.But they proved to be highly customer insensitive and have not even responded to my grievances. Obviously it is because of the company's backing its managers can act in the stated manner.
At the time of the booking Mr Nitin acted very nice and said things like - "You are a special case and like family to me and I am not interested in profit, but in building my and Unicon's long term personal relationship with you."
Later he would not take my calls, bang the phone and said things as given below without provocation :
a. He repeatedly challenged me to send a legal notice. Said “Legal Notice does not matter to me at all.It is everyday work for me. My company will handle itâ€
b. Further challenged me that after I fail by legal means, I can use any illegal means I like, he can handle that too.
c. He ordered me to cancel my booking and pay up Rs 1 lacs as cancellation charges to the builder.
d. From being the highly privileged customer ,I became – “ I don’t know, who you areâ€
I have the voice recordings of all the conversations.
