Through the Telecalling service of TATA AIG LIFE INSURANCE I got to know about the “Mahalakshmi Gold†policy, in October. She told me about its benefits such as ‘Double rider’ and the gift of a ‘Samsung Multimedia Mobile Phone’ if I would pay the sum of Rs.30,000 onwards. So I decided to take this policy and on 31st October I gave the cheque of sum Rs.30,000 to company’s Sales Executive, Mr. Shudhanshu. He said that within 15 days you will get your bond copy of your policy and after 2 days, your gift. But three months have passed and I haven’t received my gift yet. When I contact the company, the respective person told me that the address in the policy is wrong that’s why I haven’t received the gift. In the policy the illiterate Sales Executive have put in my wrong address, totally absurd. Till today, I had contact Mr.Amit, Mr.Dinesh and Mr.Raghav, everyone saying the same thing that you will receive the gift within 15 days. Mr.Amit offered to give me ‘silver coins’ instead of the mobile phone, to which I straight away ignored because the commitment from the firm side was made for the “Samsung multimedia mobile phoneâ€.
Therefore I am deciding to go to “Consumer Court†and file a complaint against the company for “False Commitment†and I would also made the issue to get into the “limelight of mediaâ€, so that others can also know about the company’s and Telecalling deeds.
