Dear Sir,
This is my privilege to bring the grievance to your notice for immediate resolve. Kindly be informed that I have booked Three ticket under Tatkal quota through your (IRCTC’s) authorized agent “Pravin Tours and Travels†(Mobile – ********54) Address – DBZ –S-41, Shop no. 11, Gandhidham, Dist. Kutch, Gujarat, scanned copy of Ticket is attached herewith. Whilst having booked the ticket, they charged service charges amount @200/- per passenger additionally from us apart from the amount paid as per railways’ norms.
Whilst raising the objection and inquiring about said additional charges, he elaborated us that they have also to pay some amount to
the persons of Railway authorities, involved in issuing the ticket under Tatkal. We are quite shocked to know, in our democratic country, how the things are happening and such agents are harassing the customers deliberately and charging huge amount. May we ask your goodself whether the Agents are authorized to charge amount additionally Rs.200/- per passenger under Tatkal booking as per the guidelines of Railway’s and IRCTC’s , if no why this amount has been charged.
This matter not only pertains to me , but to all common people. It is my humble request to you to look into the matter and initiate the action against the said agent. If he has charged excess amount from us, you need to get recovery of excess amount and thus amount be refunded to us.
We await your prompt action to be initiated against the said agent.
