first of all, dont take tension. better take it easy...now first you write a notice to your local office for name-change(it is also called a transfer--as far as my reading from indane gas website is concerned-it seems to be very simple procedure)and ask them for immediate action. now if this time they overlooked it, then best legal remedy is to go to your district consumer forum or court.the whole procedure before district court is very simple, if u can read and write something, you dont even need a lawyer's help. under the consumer forum, you can file a complaint in the form of application on the basis of deficiency of service because delaying your work is a deficiency of service .whole procedure is come under consumer protection act or law and u can also take compensation under the head of mental harassment,expense for your case as well as also interest.if you need some help about this subject--then go to any book shop where law books is available and ask for this subjects.at the same time it is important to have a sample application for which u can go to any district court and inquired for book stall in court compound.there u can purchase a reference called bare act--consumer protection act...going by this act, u will get a whole idea of available remedies and procedure for work will be much more easier..gud luc...if u dont have time and bucks, almost everything is available in net free of cost.
