In vadodara every body please avoid using Auto rickshaw ... most of their meters are giving false reading ...they have tie up with traffic police & getting money from them ... Most of the auto richshaw use wrong meter which shows wrong meter reading & they gets more money . There are no system from Traffic control to verify meters once in a month ...This is Gujarat, ...be careful ...
This is the responsibility of traffic department of vadodara ....but they are sleepling & very busy to catch vehicles to get bribes .................... sab badmash hai upar se niche takk ........................
I agree with the above post. I dont drive and i have to use the autorickshaw for my commutation. i can tell, that after in vadodara almost 92% of the autorickshaw meters are tampered. These people tamper the meters, giving a high reading, and ultimately the customer is supposed to pay for it.
Normally the reading should go from 60 to 70 at a distance of 1.2 km, but it changes in 0.5 km for majority of them.
Its the ultimate responsibility of the RTO and the Traffic police to take care of this growing menace.
Recently it is been coming in the papers, about the increased drives of traffice police to check their license, and the number of people they sit in their vehicle. In the station area, you can find autorickshaw drivers sitting 6 to 8 people right under these people's nose.. high time, these are the people who are ruining vadodara in their own way.
I support this complaint.

I compeletly agree. For same distance fare varry from 50 to 80 rs.
No body knows where to complain.
