I bought a new and my first apple product IPhone 6s on 17 June 2016, within 24 hours of buying a product start facing heating and hanging issue in phone. Due to my busy schedule I was not able to report to apple store same week. Very next week 2nd July 2016 I visited apple store they told them problem I am facing with 13 days old APPLE product, they did not entertain me ask me visit service station directly ,So I did as they told me visited service station. Team listen to my problem and told me need to format the phone and install update again. I Agreed, they done it, same day in evening i got same problem now new problem arise phone stop detecting SIM Error " NO SIM INSTALLED ". I tried to reboot the phone multiple times does not help. Next day in morning it start working again, after 2 hrs of use same problem again Heating and NO SIM INSTALLED and does not work till midnight. Next day MONDAY MORNING it start working again GOD KNOWS HOW.
MONDAY MORNING visited service station again told them the new problem coming and old problem still comes and both some randomly. Now they asked me to leave phone at service station of 5 working days, they will diagnose it and try to fix the hardware/software fault if id doesn't work they will replace the phone from refurbished stock " IF STOCK IS AVAILABLE" that too the device which is 14 days old. When is try to explain them this device is 17 days old only why you are holding it 5 working days for checking. I can under if device is 3 or 6 months old you try to repair it but device is under 17 days of cooling off period why can you replace it with new phone. Service team said they can’t do it.
Note- After diagnostic or repair they can assure customer same problem will not come. Service team statement - IN CASE SAME ISSUE COMES AGAIN SUBMIT PHONE AGAIN TO SERVICE CENTRE THEY WILL RUN THE DIAGNOSTIC AGAIN TRY TO FIX. SOOOOOO COOOOL and CONFIDENT ABOUT HIS TROUBLESHOOTING AND DIAGNOSTIC (Sarcasm ).
Now can story comes in picture when i call APPLE call centre for support. I was thinking they can help me as a apple brand they care and understand the customer pain. Apple don’t want to his customer to suffer however I was shattered when they told me apple don’t have store in INDIA. APPLE sell all product in INDIA via third-party and service is totally under discrimination of apple sales partner and there service team. Me as customer and they have to follow the rules. They cannot influence the service centre to replace a device it is only 17 days old device and having problem. Customer have to submit my new phone to for repair best they can do is try to get this done on priority now it will take 48 hours from 5 days. Thanks for the help but APPLE want customer to buy new apple product and anything goes wrong with 17 days of buy, APPLE want customer understand and stay without phone for 48 hours.
Moto -
1. Need new phone not problematic phone.
2. Before start of apple advertisement in TV they should issue a warraning for public that warranty will not given apple. It will be given by third party with whom they have tie up. So that people will have clear picture what they are buying and how warranty will work..
