Ma'am/Sir,



It is with great regret that I am having to write to you about a MacBook Pro I bought on 28/29 September 2013. I began operating the machine and I noticed that:



1. any DVD that I may play, it got stuck at some point or the other. i had to eject it, re-insert it and then play from the point it got stuck. (Pls note that all DVDs are original copyrighted material and none of it is pirated.)

2. The battery refuses to last more than 6 hours, that too when my work does not involve any graphics or usage of any such software that might result in higher consumption of battery.

3. An external drive was configured to take a back-up of the data periodically, but I am yet to be lucky for the back-up to be ever taken by the machine.



I have been in touch with your customer support and I have quoted the case number in the subject above. The customer support people have been trying to help me in the best way that they can but have only succeeded in lowering my levels of tolerance and trying to tell me that all is well, while I know it is not well. The fact is that, ever since the day I purchased the machine, it required repairs. But, as my usage is infrequent, it took me time to discover the fault inherent in the machine. I may like to inform you that I did not buy this machine in "sale". And I have no intention of carrying a second-hand machine having paid the full quoted price of Mac.

The experience has been frustrating, to say the least. I had purchased the machine going by the image and reputation created by Apple. But the experience has been very distressing, leaving me with no option but to regret me decision to purchase a Mac. Any other laptop, for a lesser price would have been hassle-free than what I am undergoing at your hands now.

I would really appreciate if you can have your worthless machine collected from me. And I don't care whether you people refund my money or not. Just the machine being out of my sight and off my back shall be sufficient solace.
