With reference to the above i would like to know whether apple provides any set policies and procedures to be followed by the service providers who charge exorbitant rates for the replacement of the iPhone.
Sir my iPhone 5 c serial number is
F2LLK3JTFL01 and the IMEI number is 35 855205 112333 7. Unfortunately on 14th of may 2014 my iPhone dropped on the floor accidently and the screen cracked. After reading the APPLE policies on repair and replacement for accidental damage and the limited warranty plan, i contacted the authorised service provider from the list mentioned on the site. Most shocking, I was grieved to hear that no repair but only replacement of the iPhone can be done and the price verbally quoted was 50% of the original price of the iPhone. When asked about any repair thing, he negated such possibilities and even he refused to provide any such mandated on the part of APPLE so that I am at least aggrieved of the situation that I am not cheated. Had i been given the list quoted by APPLE I would have very blindly accepted the terms and conditions. But instead I was refused of any such reference and just blatantly offered the replacement amount. but I am aggrieved to know the sorry state of affaires which had broken my faith in the techie giant. Sir please provide me the details of the amount spent on the repairs so that I could carry on the replacement part without the feeling of being cheated.

Please suggest the proper place in India where I can get my phone repaired an that too at the standard rate being offered by Apple itself .
