I was tracelling fron Surat to Bharuch on 19/11/2010 via Train No.9011-Gujarat Exp. As the tour was decided suddenly, I bought a routine 2nd class ticket from the counter. The person at the window informed me that I can get a seat in the chaircar if available by paying the difference. One of my friends with her son had a confirmed ticket in coach C1, seat no.23,24. Names ; Mrs. Dipal Raskapporwala ,age 35 & son Bhaumil Raskapoorwala, age 11. They were also travelling to Bharuch. Seat no.22 was vacant. Hence I occupied it. Within 10 minutes a TC Mr.M M Makwana came there and without listening to my request, he just told me to get lost from there. Despite the seat no.22 was vacant upto Bharuch, he did not allocate me the seat no.though I was ready to pay the charges as per rules.
This is a great loss to railways, if it keeps on happening every now & then due to this type of behaviour of TC of AirConditioned class, as seats go vacant without any profit to railway department. Also it is very much insulting for passengers like us.
Hence I request you to look into the matter & guide us accordingly.
