SUB: Wrong Message from King Fisher Airlines resulted financial loss.
Dear Sir
I would like to bring the following to your information which resulted heavy financial loss.

I went Port Blair from Mumbai on 05.12.2010 and my return flight booked by Kingfisher Airlines
from Port Blair to Chennai on 10.12.2010, IT-3634. While I was at Port Blair, I received a message from Kingfisher Airlines cell no 0********08 on 07.12.2010 at 1245hrs on my cell no ********31 as under:

“ Dear Guest, your flight IT-3634, IXZ-MAA on 10th Dec will depart at 1245 hrs(12:45PM)”.

On the schedule day of departure on 10.12.2010, I along with my family reached Port Blair Airport at about 1030 Hrs. I was informed in the Kingfisher counter that the flight IT-3634 departure time was preponed and already left at 0630 hours on that day. There was no other flight that day where I and my family can be accommodated to go to Chennai . On listening this from Kingfisher stuff on duty, the heaven felled on me. I showed the massage received in my cell from Kingfisher to the stuff working there but they expressed helplessness. I also explained to the Kingfisher stuff that we have train reservations in the Chennai Mail from Chennai to Mumbai departure time at 10.30 PM that day and if we do not reach Chennai, we will miss the train and incurred heave financial loss. More so there is no other train reservation available now. The King fisher ticket counter stuff closed their window.
I approached the Kingfisher Airport Manager on duty Mr. Balaji Ramanan after a long wait and explained him in detail and showed him the message received in my cell from Kingfisher confirming the schedule date and time of departure of Flight No.IT -3634 and I have come to airport as per schedule. He simply told it is an auto generated message. I asked him why they did not send SMS for the rescheduled flight IT -3634 on 10.12,2010. He informed they have no provision of sending message to the passenger for rescheduled flight. They only inform by telephone and my telephone was not available. He can’t do anything now and I have to make my own arrangement. The Airport Manager’s attitude and manner was so arrogant , disgraceful and disrespectful that I left his office. I had no other choice but to come next day 11th Dec 2010 by Kingfisher from Portblair to Chennai and purchased fresh two Kingfisher air tickets for myself and my wife from Chennai to Mumbai on 12.12.2010 Flt. No.IT-3182 by paying higher airfare of Rs. 15,664.00 for two tickets and loosing the money which I paid against train tickets from Chennai to Mumbai for the date 10.12.2010.

This way, I have incurred loss for preponement of flight schedule IT-3634 on 10-1202010 and not giving me the message of rescheduling the flight from Portblair to Chennai is as under:

Train tickets Chennai to Mumbai on 10.12.2010
Mumbai Mail, PNR no. 4122646203 for self and wife - Rs. 2132.00
Flight ticket fare Chennai to Mumbai on 12.12.2010, Kingfisher , IT for self and wife Rs.15664.00

Sir, I will request to your goodself to look into the matter and compensate me for the loss I have incurred I.e. Rs.17,796.00
