I’m R S Dev, residing at 301, Vrajraj, Makrand Desai Road, Vasna.
Since few months, we have severe problem in garbage removal. Before there was a trash bin kept and we all used to put the garbage in it and once a fortnight a vehicle from VMC used to come and clear it. Now the entire garbage from all nearby area – Vrajraj society, Thribhuvan Park, Sundaram Nagar and others are dumping the garbage open and its flying everywhere. When there is rain, the garbage float around even till main road.
There is a Sai Mandir adjacent to our flat and the garbage is lying around every where. The storm drain laid is of no use as its drain cover is clogged by mud and garbage. There is no employees from VMC or contractors are attending to this problem. There is no one to sweep the road atleast once in a while. The garbage lying around is causing concern on health issues.

I have made several complaints and till date no action. Please find attachment, picture taken to show the actual scene. The sanitation and Hygenie condition is pathetic and we need your intervention in getting this sorted out. This picture is taken on a sunny day. But during a rainy day, the condition is very bad. The entire area is smelling of rotten garbage and slush.

Fail to understand why there is no one to clear the garbage on a regular basis. Sometime, a trailer used to come and they do not take the entire garbage, but pick-up only plastic , bottles and other scrap items. Seeing is believing, you can take a look at the condition of the area. Its worse than garbage dumping area of VMC.

We are paying house tax and if there is no action from VMC, I do not think we should keep continue paying house tax for no reason.
