Never Buy any item from Kay Dee Audiovisions. They are a very big dealer with several shops in Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida and Indirapuram. However, they are very unethical and cheat their customers. I wanted to buy three split AC's for my new house. I had decided that Hitachi will be the best choice and went to Noida to enquire about the rates. When I went to Kay Dee Audiovisions, they informed me that they do not deal with Hitachi. However, they strongly recommended Panasonic. They told me that Panasonic AC's have fixed price throughout India just like Sony products and that I cannot get a better price anywhere else. They also offered me special discount of Rs 1200/- per AC from their dealer margin because I was buying 3 AC's. I made the great mistake of trusting them because they fully assured me that Panasonic AC's have fixed price all over India.

I bought three Panasonic 1.5 Ton 5 Star AC model TC18NKYP from them at the price of 38,800 per AC. I also bought three whirlpool stabilizers for Rs 2700 per piece. The Invoice Number is B-1497 dated 06 Aug 2012.

I had gone for shopping to Lajpat Nagar in second week of August. I happened to cross a Panasonic Showroom named Kris Electronics. When I inquired their best price for 3 Nos of model TC18NKYP, they quoted Rs 36,000 per piece. Also they offered Blue Bird or VGuard stabilizers (which are among the best makes) for only Rs 2000/- per piece. I was very disappointed on having been cheated by the Kay Dee guys. To doubly verify the actual cost of this AC, I then visited a showroom named Bansiwala stores which is just 4 Kms from my home in Greater Noida. I was shocked to learn that the price in Greater Noida was Rs 37500/- (Rs 1300/- lower than Noida).

I approached Kay Dee and asked them as to why I was assured that Panasonic AC's have fixed price all over India. At first, they said that maybe the Lajpat Nagar and Greater Noida dealers were selling old stock. However, when I told them that their behaviour is very unethical and they should not cheat customers by making false statements, they informed me that it is not possible to get business if they do not act smart and mislead customers. They were not repentant on their unethical behaviour.

Getting the AC's fitted was another nightmare. Their mechanics are equally unethical. They asked me for Rs 800/- for the AC stand whereas the Greater Noida shop quoted Rs 500/- for each AC stand. Similarly, their rates for copper tube, electrical wire and drain pipe was also higher than that in Greater Noida shop.

I am an Army Officer and am very disappointed to waste my hard earned money due to the absolutely unethical and untrustworthy actions on the part of Kay Dee. I would advise all prospective buyers to pick up AC's from delhi (where they are much cheaper). Also never trust the Kay Dee guys. They are a bunch of cheats who have no value for ethical behaviour.
