We had asked for a Oracle Financials Technical training in this institute. They had called us as many as 10 times, took the information and arranged a training. We joined the course and although they insisted on a full payment of 20K, we paid 10000 as advance. The first day they started a functional module. The same day we got back to them and clarified that we wanted a technical training. They promised to arrange one stating there was some mistake. After a month, we called them to know the status, after that they had arranged a technical person on phone to confirm the course content. They did not turn up for 2 months after this. 15 days ago we called them again to find out the status and they revised the fee to 40 K stating it was a difficult training to organise (although their website claims different things! you can see their website).
Hence we requested for a refund. They immediately said they did not have any refund policy !
I have been working on filing a consumer complaint in the consumer redressel forum.
We made the mistake of paying the fees upfront. My wife has been looking for a job, and see where we are after 3 months of waiting for this course. I request all the students to be very careful before you pay any money to these institutes.
