On December 4th, 2010 I gave my Xysls watch for repair (change strap) - the care people suggested a return date of December 30, 2010 (26 days?) - which was OK (still 9 days ahead of my return back to the USA).
Complaint:
- No call from care before or after December 30, 2010
- On Jan 2, 2011 I went to the shop to be told that I needed to come back after a week - I politely suggested that would not work since I was heading back on the 5th evening. I suggested getting me the watch - with or without the fix
- They asked me to come back in 2 days, which I did. On Jan 4th, they suggested that they will be able to get me the watch on January 5th late noon.
- On Jan 5th, I called and they suggested it wont make it - I asked for collateral which was clearly refused suggesting it was not their problem that things are delayed.
Big Issue:
I am now going to leave my Rs 12000 watch with the store for no fault of mine; the store wont ship it to the US suggesting the error is not their problem and that I need to make alternate arrangement.
