My mother namely Husan Ara alongwith my sister and brother were returning to Howrah from Satna jn by Chambal Express in coach No.S4 on 17.03.2012 with luggage. At around 3.30 am or so on my mother saw that one of the suitcase containing jwellery worth Rs. 3,50,000/- is missing at Dhanbad Railway Station. She immediately alerted the GRPS officials at Dhanbad but the SHO, of the GRPS Dhanbad was reluctant and refused to lodge complaint and told my mother that since she is boarding a Howrah bound train she will have to lodge complaint with the Howrah GRPS. My mother tried to convince the GRPS SHO but her efforts proved futile. She was advised by the fellow passengers to lodge the complaint at Asonsol Station and she ultimately lodged a complaint with the SHO, GRPS Asansol being GDE NO. 880 of 2012 and the copy of the same was forwarded to the SHO GRPS Dhanbad. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.
