This is to bring in to your notice the theft and daylight robbery of goods sent by me from Delhi to Kannur on 24.03.2011 . The goods I sent is 100 nos of cloth meant to distribute to poor students in a school in Kannur DT . It is found out later that there is a gang operating in the kannur railway station including the railway police who is supposed to guard the goods in the parcel warehouse. The consignee also tried to lodge police complaint in railway police station Kannur and they refused to even receive the complaint regarding the theft which clearly shows the collusion of all the officials in kannur railway station in the theft of parcel goods . we had to send the complaint by registered post as they refused to receive the complaint .
In view of the facts and circumstances cited above you are requested to take strong action against all those official who was in charge and responsible for the custody and handling of the goods I sent . I further request you to take this as a class action since on our enquiry I t was found that this is a regular happening in KANNUR RAILWAY STATION . and if this is what happens to the goods sent in railway parcel how will the people have trust and confidence to send the goods in railway which will have long term commercial implication on the railway .
