I had purchased a Sony Xperia Z3+ handset on 18th Oct'15 in the night at 8.45pm for Rs38,500/- via (my husbands) credit card transaction. After the initial charge & the system software update the next day the handset started giving problem. It was giving an error message of google gapps not working & it was getting so hot that I couldn't hold the handset in my hand. I called the sales staff Indrajit Das immediately at around 2pm or so & he got back to me at around 2.15pm or so stating that the handset has to be given to them for a day to be taken to the servive centre. I told him that I will not take such an expensive handset which gives trouble within 15-16hrs & they will have to refund the money. Thereafter, I went to their store the same day 19th Oct'15 & returned the handset & told them to give me the refund. Yesterday one sales staff called & asked me to visit them & said that he will do as I want because I am their customer. On reaching there at around 5pm or so I was told first it wud be replaced, then they denied both ..no replacement & no refund. I had sent a mail on 19th too to get back to me or else I shall be forced to go to Consumer Forum...but they just didn't bother. Since I have paid so much I shall not be taking back the defective handset under any circumstances & I want my money to be refunded immediately. Its a matter of a whole lot of money & at the time of purchase I had checked with them that if theres any fault what will they do...they told me if reported before 6 days then the handset is replaced with a new one. Now, that they are not doing either I want my money back. I don't want a Sony handset at all. I need the refund immediately so that I can go ahead & buy some other handset.
