Railway Station Management - Serious complaint against Bangalore city station announcer

Me & family(4) were reached bangalore city railway station at 8.35pm. On entrance big digital display board had not displayed any information about my scheduled train no 16236 (Mysore Tuticorn express, arrival time 9.10pm). There was announcement at 8.42pm , exact announcement in english "Train no 16236 will probably reach city station by 9.10pm" . Here there is no information about platform number. Again there is same announcement without mentioning platform number at 8.55 pm & 9.02 pm. No announcement happen while train enter the city station platform & departing from station. Because of this irresponsible act from station announcer my family has missed the train.

Excuse from Station master : The lady was in duty is very experienced & didn't have missed this things. Why you have not inquiry at the counter.

My point : When there is no display working, it is primary duty of station master to convey the same to all people & request them to approach enquiry counter.

Complainant's Goal: Want full refund from Railway on this complete failure of communication
