I gave my scooty (Kinectic Sym Flyte) for service to this bike service shop in my area on 13 Nov 2014. The mechanic quoted me 4k for the repair work over the phone and he asked me to pay the token. I couldn't turn up at shop because of my work that day. Next day I went to the shop to see my scooty screwed open from all sides. I negotiated with him over the phone to 3.5K. The person agreed to come at 8 pm in evening to collect the token amount but didn't turn up that day and when I tried his number, it was not reachable. Saturday I was out on personal work. Sunday morning viz. 16 Nov 2014 the mechanic collected 2500 as token from me. I handed over the money to the security guard of my building who in turn handed over the money to him. Next day while going to the office, i stopped by the shop to see it shut. For the next 2 days, the shop kept close. I called on mechanic's number to find it unreachable/switched off. I tried the assistant's number(********4). He told me that the mechanic is not in town and asked me to pay the advance. When i told him that advance has already been paid to the mechanic and his number is switched off from 2 days, he suggested that he would talk to the mechanic and give me a call back. But i didn't recieve any call for next 2 days and neither did the shop open. Then after a full week, i started enquiring from neighbouring shopkeeper who had no information about him. I kept trying their numbers and hoping for turn up of the shop. In between I had been occupied by office work too. Yesterday when i realized it is going too far, i decided on going to Police and I looked for some online portal to lodge FIR as I am too occupied by work to visit the nearest police branch. It would be great help if Bangalore Police/anyone can help me to track down these people to get my scooty and 2.5K back. My doubts solidified that they are playing around when my calls to the assistant weren't ignored whole day today viz. 27 Nov 2014 and once he did put my call on hold after picking it.
