Dear Sir,

My kids study in a convent school in Gurgaon whose prescribed uniform centre is M/s SS School Uniforms, shop no. 145-B, New Colony, Opposite Gopal Ji, Gurgaon, Haryana. Phone : 0124-2225692, ********98

School has changed the uniform of UKG class in which my dayghter studies. We have visited this shop 3 times since 28th mar,2011 to get the uniform , however the uniform was partially available (Skirt & belt was not available). Today we again went to this shop twice & they promised to deliver us the uniform in the evening. When we reached in the evening, we still found that the unform is getting ready. We asked the lady shopkeeper to give us one skirt & two pair of shirts, 2 pair of socks & a school belt. The lady got furious on this & immediately denied to sell us anything less than 2 sets of the uniform (she wanted to sell one skirt additional than our requirement). When we argued as to why we should buy something that we dont need, & in any case you dont have the full set, you dont have the belt , then how can you force us to buy something that we dont need at all. However she was highly addamend & she even threatened not to give uniform & advised us that we need not talk to her, we can talk to the principal of the school.
No other uniform centre has this particular uniform available.

I therefore have following complaint Against SS School Uniforms:
1) I am clearly denied my right to choose.
2) For a commodity like school uniform this shop is creating unnecessary monopoly (may be along with the school), I strongly object to this
3) My ward is going to school without uniform since 27th Mar,2011 because of the irresponsible attitude & behaviour of this shop. They are not performing their duty to provide uniform despite the fact that they are sole suppliers. I condemn their irresposible behaviour.

We solicit a strong action against this shopkeeper, so that he understands that he exists bacause of customers & not otherwise & it is his duty to deliver what customer need & he can force his decisions on customers.
