For my reliance netconnect+ datacard - ********00, I've been charged even after I converted from postpaid to prepaid account. Reliance took it's own time to get it changed. I've been trying to convert to prepaid plan from postpaid since 23rd August 2010- reliance request no: 135014627.
My history of interactions with Reliance customer care and Reliance world:
On 15th Sep 2010: cleared all my outstanding bills
On 16th Sep: visited Reliance world and submitted conversion form.
They took the application form after confirming no outstanding due and advised me NOT to use the card until it is converted.
Still, I was charged monthly postpaid amount of around Rs.950/-
On 6th Oct: 1********1 (Interaction number) Spoke to Anbarasan of customer care, who confirmed that charges of Rs.950/- has been WAIVED and plan has been converted to prepaid.
I later see following balance in myaccount in myservices.relianceada.com
Sr. Subscriber No Amount (Rs.) Due Date
1 reldatacard - ********00 424.58 04/Nov/2010
I again spoke to customer care to John - Supervisor who registered request 2020593248 .
He confirmed that there is some 424.58 but unable to provide the details. Later received bill stating this charge of Rs.424 is bill for period of 25th Sep to Oct 6th.
Really disgusting to know that I am charged from 25th sep where as I converted to prepaid on 16th Sep 2010 itself. When Reliance customer care on 6th Oct recognized and reversed the charges of Rs.950, I am surprised to see the charge of Rs.450/-
Request Reliance to clear my outstanding bill on my postpaid account and close this case once for all. Spoken to customer care and visited reliance world many a times but I still see the bill amount.
