i have purchased a micromax funbook p300 and just after 12 days it's motherboard crashed after that i have given it to nagpur service center they took 10 days and did nothing and told part is not available after that i took it from ther submitted it in hyderabad service centre as iam shifted here it is nearly 25 days they kept it saying the same part is not available and customer care is not responding in a good manner pls help

I m a very upset customer with the experience I had with the new micromax phone X291 and the service centre located at Mira road.
I bought a new micromax phone X291 in Mid July, however within a week’s time (ie – 21st July) it stopped functioning. I went back to the shop I purchased the phone and he guided me to go to the Micromax service center at Mira road.
I immediately went to the service center and they made me wait for an hour without any result…They told me that they need to escalate this matter and it seems the motherboard is not functioning…
I was told the within 3 days it should get repaired. (Reference number – W030474-0812-1553312)
Twice I received a message on my phone that it has been repaired, however when I call the service center I get to know that they have no clue about the same. It’s been more than 20 days that I am without the phone.
I have made calls to the service center ‘N†number of times however they just keeping passing the buck. It is really frustrating to the core. And to add to the misery, today when I called to get an update about my phone, I got a reply that the phone is repaired multiple times however it is not getting fixed.
When I told them that if it is not getting fixed then I need a NEW replacement phone as I cant wait anymore. You will be shocked to know that the reply I got was Its not their problem if it is not getting fixed and No NEW replacement phone will be given as it is not in the policy to do so.
I m calling within the warranty period and to be precise just within 7 days of purchasing the phone and the way I have been treated is very depressing.
I have all the bills and receipts to support my statement.
I have been using micromax phone in the past as well and had recommended 4 of my friends to buy it.
However with this kind of experience I am sure that if my issue is not sorted, you will losing loyal customers.
I have made up my mind to lodge a complaint.
I have my cousin working with newspaper and he has suggested to share my experience and write an article about my experience in his newspaper “MID DAYâ€.
However I still want to give it a last try…
If i dont get this fixed ASAP I will be forced to take a step.
