The captioned policy was matured for payment on 28.05.2014. All the premiums have been deducted from my salary and remitted to the concerned LIC branch reguarly. On maturity, I have approached the KG Road branch of LIC of India at Bangalore. They have informed me that the date of maturity of the policy is mentioned as 28.5.2011 and the amount payable to me is as on 28.5.2011 even though the policy clearly states that the date of maturity is 28.5.2014. I have not received any intimation from LIC in this regard since 28.5.2011. Also, the LIC has accepted the premiums upto 28.4.2014. I have given an application to KG road Branch of LIC for rectification and payment of maturity. Even after one year they have failed to settle the issue. I have later approached the Divisional Manager, Divisional Office, Mysore on 28th of May 2014 for settlement of the issue. But my request has not been responded so far.
I, therefore, request you for immediate settlement of the policy with interest and damages.
