I ordered 5 items from Pepperfry.com on 12-Oct-2012 because of some offer they had given. Tthe site displays delivery within 7 working days, however I did not receive any items for the next 10 days and when I contacted them, the reply given was that 7 working days were not completed as Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not working days for them.
I waited for 7 working days to get completed and after repeated calls, my first item got delivered on 25-Oct-2012.
I wanted a refund, however they assured me immediate delivery and I got my second item on 1-Nov-12.
Again, I have sent an email asking for a refund which I was assured of a "prompt response" on 3-Nov-12 and I have not got any reply till now.
I am a frequent shopper on the internet and I have found sites like yebhi.com, flipkart.com, jabong.com doing delivery within 3,4 days. In fact, I ordered 6 items on Yebhi.com on same day I ordered in pepperfry.com on 12-Oct-12 and I received all the items on 14-Oct-12.
Finally I would like to conclude by cautioning online shoppers not to order anything on pepperfry.com.
