I am HARMEL SINGH, S/o Hartej Singh, from Siliguri, West Bengal. My D.O.B. is 01.02.1990 and my Passport Application File no. is ''A050444'' (REGIONAL PASSPORT OFFICE, KOLKATA) I had applied for Passport from The Passport Application Collection Center, Siliguri on 28th May 2010. and The Police Enquiry was also done successfully on 15th July 2010. But as per the status of my Passport on the website www.passport.gov.in it shows still the Police Report is Pending and the case is being examiend. Where as I was told by the Officer in charge that my Passport will be dispatched in a max of 3months, but its already 6months but still i did not recive it. I even cross checked the same thing with the Police Officers who did my enquriy they told me that the report was sent by them immediatly after the verification. I can't understand what should i do as i require my passport as soon as possible, as i need to apply for my visa for studies abroad. So please help me in what should be done.Thank You.
