Dear Sir,
On 7.04.2016 i received a call from Miss. Jyoti from gobestshopping.com, through number +********9800.
She said sir we are franchisee of godaddy.com and as a website promotion we have selected you as our special customer getting your number through other online shopping website from where i did online shopping in past.
She said i have to purchase one product of minimum Rs. 5,999/- through their website and i will stand a chance to win any of three free gifts that are 1) Sony Bravia LED TV, 2) Apple iPhone, 3) Rs. 75,000 Cash.
I said iam not interested in your free gifts but if there is any product which iam willing to by as now then i will sure buy one product. I said please call me after 5-10 mins as i will come online. She ranged me after 10 mins and demonstrated me how to purchase the product from their website.
I said I am willing to buy a "Samsung Laser Multifunction Printer with wifi", but that is not showing available on your website. She Sir, said let me check with my store/product department, i am transferring your call to my product department and he will let you know the availability of your desired product. The next representative said sir which product you want to buy i said "Samsung Laser Multifunction Printer with wifi", he said sir can you tell me the exact product name, i said "SAMSUNG LASER ALL IN ONE PRINTER SL-M2071W' he said yes sir that is available, please search as laser printer in search tab. and it was showing when i searched there but it was surprising that only one printer was showing which i mentioned to him and i searched for only Laser Printer so all laser printers available should display there but it was not like that so i doubted and asked him that earlier when i searched it was not showing and when i told you the exact product name you made it available there on your website. he said no sir we are having other laser printers of Canon and other companies on webiste you can check.
Moving forward i said please transfer call to Miss. Jyoti again and he did. Miss Jyoti demonstrated me how to proceed ahead for buying the product. She told me to login as a guest, i asked why as a guset? how in future i will contact care support team for any issues. she said sir you will receive email and help line number is: 0********08 which is there on website too, you can any time call on this number for any issue adn we are available on whatsapp on this number too.
Thorugh EBS gateway i did final payment of Rs.8,499/- through my credit card and a ID was generated which diaplyed for only 2 seconds and disappeared but i recognised the number. Miss Jyoti said sir, please let me know the ID please i said 51950038. She said okay sir i am transferring your call to our gift team and now it self they will let you know the gift you have won. The gift department asked me sir which gift you are desiring from the three? i said cash prize, but please give my transaction ID, Purchase ID and purchase receipt first. he said sir it will be mailed with all details after finalising gift process. i said ok. Then he told me that i have won Rs. 75K cash and congrats. He said i will receive a call from their accounts department within 24 hours and the process of transferring the amount will be done. I said when i will receive my product and it should be all what i have purchased. He said yes sir you will get your order within next 4-5 days and our engineer will come for installation and demonstration. Thanks for shopping on gobestshopping.com
I did not received any email regarding my purchase by them. So i called helpline number 0********08 and spoke with Miss. Jyoti regarding my issue. She said okay sir i am forwarding yout the purchase receipt. I received a mail in just a typing manner that
"Dear,Mr Imtiyaz Khan,
Very very congratulation, You won the cash price INR 75,000/- involve the promotional activities of Gobestshopping. So behalf of this prize you paid INR 6,000/- in which company is giving you SAMSUNG LASER ALL IN ONE PRINTER SL-M2071W ALL IN ONE WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS."
I again called and replied them that the amount showing is wrong and i have purchased the product for Rs. 8499 and not Rs.6000. Then again they forwarded me the same mail with amount correction only. I called them and asked for my receipt with my purchase ID, transaction ID and other details they said sir you will receive it with in few minutes there was power shut down here in Ghaziabad so the issue might had occurred creating delay of your receipt mail. But i never received that to till date.
On 9.04.2016 i received call from Mr. Satyam (Senior Executive, Gobestshopping.com) near about 11:00 am. He said please give your account details so that we can transfer your cash won amount. I said please forward mail and i will reply on mail. he said no sir u have have to provide on call only as it will be authorised for us i said mail is also authorised way to reply. he said no sir. Okay i said please call me after 15 min im out right now.
Then after 15 mins i received a call From Mr. Naresh Mehta through number : +********3050, he asked the same as on previous call for account details. I gave him my Account number, Pan card number, Bank IFSC number. I said what about my product? when i will Receive it? he said yes sir within 2-3 days you will receive it. i said oaky. He said sir now as we are giving you Rs. 75K cash prize and we have to pay income tax which is about Rs. 10,500 for your amount which you have to pay right now and with in one hour we will transfer Total Rs. 85,500 in your account and he started querying sir whether you have any Loan going on? i said why you are asking that? what concern do you have? he said actually we have suffered from few customers in past related to some Loan issue like that. I said dont ry to make me fool and cancel my purchase and refund my money i dont want to process any transaction further. He said no sir you can not cancel the order, you have to claim your prize first else you will not get your order.
Form here they started using bad language. I cut the call. again he called me and said sir, please trust me after paying Rs. 10,500 you will have to not pay any maount anymore and within one hour we will transfer total amount in your bank account as said. I said sorry i am in office and i dont have my credit card. Then he started asking sir when you will go home, who is there at your home? i said dear that is not your concern and i will go home after 6 pm. Then he gave me his personal number which is : 0********43 (Showing as Durgesh Sharma on truecaller), and said to call anytime on this number as i reach home.
after that i never contacted them and waited. I received call from them but i did not received any call till 21.04.2016. when i felt that no product has been dispatched from them then i dropped a mail with my query and received their call on 22.04.2016 through number: +11204226276. and i asked them what happened to my order. Mr. Naresh Mehta, he said sir we received your mail but our team might had told you that your process is incomplete. I said please leave all that and cancel my order and refund my money he rudely said sorry sir we cannot cancel order and till you dont claim your prize and pay further money u cannot cancel your order or mail to us. please call after 90 days for cancellation.
I am having few call reords. My Credit Card bank transaction mail notifying that i have done transaction on gobestshopping.com, mail details.
